the pollution of mind

Mind pollution

The bright resolution

against thinking designed by evolution

to find and grind all seeds of revolution

against the kind that doesn’t like to go blind

that finds that a great mind

is what combines all treasures of mankind

a great portion of drugs and maybe TV

that’s what it says is the key

of keeping the nation low on their knees

too mind polluted to want to be free

to explore and break out of a box built to please

the lazy swine inside of you

that once provoked needs to find food

a plate full of panic garnished with swine flu

recession, compression, international aggression

posession wage concession

The great depression and reposession

all nicely prepared and served to a nation

that won’t dare to question the forced salvation

freedom from the yearning for inspiration

instead you have constipation.

Salvation from revolution through constipation of a mind with solutions.

beware of the pollution

the pollution of mind.

that has already infected most of mankind.

I'm looking for like minded people, really, cause if you like these thoughts, you might like Moonlight Holidays. If you don't like it, it's fine...but you might still like Moonlight Holidays.

Money Slavery - Is there an escape route?

No. Not really, is there? I'm sorry. Unless, of course you like the peaceful seclusion of  the countryside where no planning permission needs to be given for you to build your own home…far far away from the concepts of paying bills or food.

Me myself though, I like to think that I am paying a price for this luxury of being able to socialize with my friends…going to the cinema, or out for a meal, spending money on clothes…I mean this is all part of the parcel, right? This is why we become wage slaves, isn’t it? Well, and obviously the bill part, of course – rent, mortgage etc. Well – all good things in life have a catch, hey?

It’s a money system. Back in the days people exchanged valuables for things they needed or wanted. A sheep for a haircut.  Actually not a bad concept.

The problem is – people couldn’t get rich quick. People didn’t have control over people. I dare to say people were almost equal to each other, because what was there to measure someone by?

Everyone had what they needed or wanted and if not they found someone, who had what they wanted and swapped it for something else. Easy. Everyone happy.

Nope-money had to be invented, clearly. People’s happiness needed to be monitored.

It might sound like a Utopia, or maybe even a bit like communism…but seriously – wouldn’t you be intrigued to find out whether it would be better to just grow your own food for yourself or to swap for something your neighbour has to offer?

I have been to East Germany recently speaking to some of the people living there – and let me tell you – it can really benefit your social life if you dare not putting such a high value on money. Instead you help each other out, trusting each other to do the same.

There is only one little problem with this nowadays. We’d need to take the focus off making the better deal and being wealthy, and to put it on helping each other out. Selfishness versus Compassion.

And quite frankly this might be too much to ask for in a world full of wage slaves working hard for more approval from big Mr Money.

On another note – if you like the idea of living a bit more self sufficiently you might be interested in staying with Bedouins for a holiday…Very inspiring and challenging but relaxing at the same time. Have a look on my website if you like www.moonlight-holidays.com

Or subscribe to my newsletter, which actually I’d love you to do. Just send a mail to support@moonlight-holidays.com and say something like ‘I want your newsletter’ or anything you feel like saying.

A quick fix with a holiday...

Getting up at 7.30 in the morning woken by the shrilling sound of the merciless alarm clocks that are carefully placed across your room...and really you'd prefer to kip for a bit longer...Facing rush hour every day anew. Yey. Every day the same cars in front of you. Every day the same people crossing your way with the same expressionless emptiness in their faces until you finally get there. Go in. Do your job. And leave again. Day in. Day out. For weeks and months.

Until you have reached the special time of the year. The Time Off. The holiday. The seemingly only time of the year where you don't need to function.
And all you're thinking is how to get as far away from this and as soon as possible. No matter where - just not here.

Congratualtions. This is the prefect condition to be satisfied with and possibly even enjoy any holiday you can possibly get your hands on...unless it is a total scam of course.

However this is also a motivation or let's call it attitude, that turns any holiday into a quick fix plaster (you know those flashy ones that come in all sorts of colours and that come off as soon as someone around you sneezes...). A quick escape from it all, but when you come back...'sneeze' - the plaster comes off and left behind is the same old stuff to tackle. You start gasping for time off again soon...repeatedly...and as the time goes on it simply gets more and more desperate...

Ideally a holiday  should be an escape that lets you forget things leaving you feeling stronger to tackle things in a different way.
I mean - wouldn't it be amazing to go away, totally forget about everything for a while, come back and find that everything is still amazing, because you are still feeling like you have been feeling in your time away?

That in my eyes is the essence of the potential that lies in a holiday. A time off for your soul to recuperate. For you to collect new strength. And most of all - a time to start dreaming again. A time to get inspired and to rekindle your passion for life.

My name is Nadine Schmidt and my passion is to help unlock the potential of your time off with my business Moonlight Holidays.
